Abstract

Effect of sonic vibrations on plants has been studied by. different investigators and the opinions expressed have been controversial. Musical sound of certain types have been claimed to have beneficial effects by way of increasing the growth and productivity of a variety of plants. The possibilities of utilising music treatment to crops for increasing the yield of commercial produce have been examined experimentally and no unanimity of opinion has been expressed.
