Studies on the performance of thirteen bittergourd varieties conducted at Horticultu tal Research Station. Periyakulam have indicated 1) the superiority of the variet Coimbatore Long with higher hoctare yield of 16.2 tonnes ii) medium length, girth anc fruit weight iii) medium height and spread of the plants and iv) The fruits are tender and attractive with green colour.
