Abstract


A field experiment was conducted at Agricultural Research Station, Durgappre during Rabi 1978-79 and 1979-80 to study the effect of nitrogen levels and method of application on the yield of barley, Barley responded to nitrogen upto 76 kg/ha and halt nitrogen drilled at sowing and helf nitrogen top dressing or 2nd irrigation gave the highest yield.
