Abstract

Application of ZnSO, (25 kg/ha) had influenced the highest uptake of N, P and K in cowpes and soil application of 50 kg P_{2}*O_{E} / h_{B} was found to be significantly su- perior in increasing their uptake. The grain yield was the highest in T_{S} treatment ( Na, MoO , at 0.25kg / h * a ) while straw yield was higher in T_{4} treatment ( znS*O_{4} at 25 ka/ha). Highest grain yield (602kg / h * a) of cowpea was recorded in T_{1} treatment when coupled with 2 * 0/6 DAP spray.
