Abstract

Efficacy of poly-bag, wooden box, earthern seed pan and bamboo basket as conta ners using paddy straw as substrate on the sporophore production was asse- ssed. Poly-bag recorded the maximum yield of 319 g followed by bamboo basket which recorded 219 g per bed of 500 g paddy straw.
