Abstract

The existence of such phenomena as parasitism, symbiosis, commen- salism, cannibalism and other curious associations in the animal world is a fact well known to all biologists; but as far as the writer is aware such relations are nowhere found in such numbers and in such extraordinary and remarkable varieties as in the realm of insects.
