A study was carried out to determine the heterosis percentage for seed cotton yield and fibre properties involving naked seed parents. The heterosis percentage for seed cotton yield over mid parent was as high as 80.8 in the cross involving naked seed parent. And for ginning percentage it was 9.7%, for seed index it was 17.5%, for lint index it recorded 28.82% and for mean halo length it was 12%. Positive heterosis was vary high for seed cotton yield. For other fibre properties the heterosis was both in the positive and negative side.
