Phosphorus application to the preceding crop of finger millet and maize significantly increased the Saloid-P, Al-P, Fe-P. RS-P and Ca-P and this effect continued during the growth of the third crop of blackgram (residual). No significant difference was observed among the different sources of P studied. Increasing levels of P application enhanced the status of all the P fractions.
