Abstract


The influence of different hosts on the biology of adults of Trichogramma chilonis (Ishii) was tested in the laboratory. T.chilonis showed highest preference for the eggs of Pthorimoca operculella as shown by highest parasitisation (76.2%), adult emergence (96.33%) females (55.31%) and longevity (6.4 days)
