Abstract

A filed trial was conducted at the Agricultural Research station, Aliyarnagar to study the effect of combined inoculation of rhizobial strains viz.. Tt9 and TNAU 14 along with Azospirillum brasilense Sp 7 and phosphobacteria (Bacillus megaterium var. phosphaticum) PB 1 in groundnut var. Co.1. The combined inoculation of Rhizobium, Azospirillum and phosphobacteria produced maximum crop growth nodule number, plant nutrient content and yield compared to individual inoculation or dual inoculation of Rhizobium with Azospirillum or phosphobacteria.
