Abstract

Field experiments were conducted to study the effect of P sources and levels in a maize -sunflower system. The results of the study revealed that, single super phosphate with or without microbial inoculants at recommended level of P,O, to maize, improved the available nutrient status of the soil. The soil nutrient status in sunflower crop and the uptake of nutrients in maize and sunflower increased with SSP with microbial-inoculants.
