Tours :-- B.Sc. Class III went on a short tour on 1.11.1923 in the district and returned on 5.11.1923. Mr.Rajagopalachariya,Asst.Professor was in charge of the party Merss. P.S.Jeevanna Rao and H.Shiva Rao also accompanied the students to help then on the Botanical and Chemical sides respectively. Uthankudi, Kangayam, Palayakotta and Erode were visited.Pomegranate cultivaion of Cnengapalli near Uthankudi was enquired into and observation on tobacco. and Cambodia Cotton were made near Kangayam.Methods of Cattle-breeding at Palayakotta were studied and the unique knowledge of the Pattagar in this art was much appreciated.
