Some of the old students will probably remember visiting the landa of M. R. Ry. R. Sivaranma Ayyar, Avergal, B. A., B. L., of Ravanasamudram, Ambasamudram Taluk, Tinnevelly District. He has an oil engine (7) B. H. P.) and pamp by means of which water is pumped on to a stretch of land which had previously been often left waste.
