Abstract

Ever since the various Governments in India decided to interest themselves in the improvement of Indian Agriculture the question of improved implements has bulked very largely in their programmes so largely indeed that in this respect one may say enthusiasm has run riot. But as you are aware, the attempt to introduce any of them into general adoption proved a failure and beyond a few dilapidated relics of some of these implements which one occasionally comes across in Government farms, there is little left to remind us of these attempts.
