Abstract

Field experiment was conducted during kharif 2008 to assess the response of Mungbean to different organic manure, fertilizers and bio-fertilizers [Rhizobium (B1) and PSB (B2) seed inoculation]. Yield attributes and seed yield of mungbean were significantly higher under vermicompost @ 0.7 t/ha + 50% RDF and was at par with poultry manure @ 0.85 t/ha + 50% RDF. N, P and K concentration in seed and straw and their uptake, protein content in seed and net returns were higher in vermicompost @ 0.7 t/ha + 50% RDF.
