Abstract

The nitrogen industry of Europe has volunteered to help India in the production and distribution of a new fertilizer called calcium ammonium nitrate by establishing an organisation by the name Kisan Khad Scheme of India. With a view to assess the comparative efficacy of the new fertilizer with ammonium sulphate, an experiment was conducted and the results obtained are recorded in this paper.
