Abstract

The controversy regarding the uniform availability of soil moisture within the 'available range can be said to be set at rest following the innumerable experimental results disproving it (Kelly, 1954). In this paper the effects of differing moisture stress on ragi (Eleusine coracana), on the yield and nutrient uptake of the plant are discussed.
