Nitrate Nitrogen Content and IAA Production Potential of the Rhizosphere Soil of Three Legumes in Relation to Nodulation

Abstract

                                An evaluation of the relationship between nitrate nitrogen in the rhizosphere soil and nodule number indicated a nogative correlation between the two factors in green- gram and sunnhemp, and a positive correlation in blackgram. A positive correlation between IAA production potential and nodulation was observed only in blackgram.
