Abstract

An evaluation of the relationship between nitrate nitrogen in the rhizosphere soil and nodule number indicated a nogative correlation between the two factors in green- gram and sunnhemp, and a positive correlation in blackgram. A positive correlation between IAA production potential and nodulation was observed only in blackgram.
