Abstract

Twenty varieties of Eleusine corecane (Guorin.) were subjected to correlation studies and path analysis and the results are presented. The results indicated that plant height influenced the grain yield indirectly through tillering. Number of earhearing tillers is the most important yield contributing factor in rogi. The contribution towards grain vield by days to flowering and number of fingers por panicle was found to be negligible in the material studied.
