Abstract

A study on the effect on phosphorus and growth regulators on grain yield of cowpea showed that application of 26,9 ky P. Os/ha as economically optimum. It also revealed that foliar application of planofix at 40 ppm twice at stray and peak flowering stages of the crop increased the grain yield by 9.7 per cent over control with a net return of Rs. 1.742/ha.
