Effect of combined application of pesticides and urea on nitrogen uptake and grain yield of lowland rice.

Abstract

                                Application of Carbofuran and gamma BHC along with Urea increase the uptake of itrogen by rice. The uptake at lower levels of N applied along with Carbofuran or gamma HC was more or less same to that at higher levels of N without the Pesticides. Grain Id was increased by combined application of N and pesticides, When pesticides were I applied, N had a negative effect on grain yield.
