Application of Carbofuran and gamma BHC along with Urea increase the uptake of itrogen by rice. The uptake at lower levels of N applied along with Carbofuran or gamma HC was more or less same to that at higher levels of N without the Pesticides. Grain Id was increased by combined application of N and pesticides, When pesticides were I applied, N had a negative effect on grain yield.
