STABILITY OF YIELD IN GROUNDNUT

Abstract


Six promising varieties of groundnut wore ovaluated for lovol and stability of yield over four environnionts in Western Maharashtra. The differences in stability were mainly duo to linear regression. The variety M-13 had good stability and was second best in yielding ability while TMV-10 had givian the highest yield with moderate stability. Henco, M-13 and TMV-10 were observed to be ideal gonotypes for yield.
