Structural indices of Alfisol (Red) and Entisol (Alluvial) soil profiles studied are re- ported in this paper. The stability index, aggregate stability, structural coefficient and aggregation index are considered to be reliable structural indices and accordingly the structure of Red and Alluvial soils could be considered as moderately developed. It was observed that the mean weight diameter was very closely related to both aggregates and primary particles of larger sizes comparatively, as revealed from almost linear relationships established.
