Abstract

A sot of oighty two different strains of common millet (Panicum millacoum) collected from differont places was unod for natimation of gonolla silvergence. D² estimates based on 12 characters support that the differences in agroclimatic situations are not necessarily related to genetic divergence and thus the desirable diverso parents may not bo selected for hybridization on the basis of climatic regions.
