The instructional television programme was made an impact on knowledge and attitude of televised women with respect to nutrition and home practices as observed on the basis of percentage. Some of the socio personal and economic characteristices were significantly associated with, their knowledge as well as attitude in both type of women televised and non-televised. Hence there is no specific trend was observed in the securing of knowledge and attitude due to socio personal and ecnomic characteristics of women with respect to nutrition and home practices in both conditions. The televised women given some valuable suggestions towards the programmes should cover maximum related to women in casy way and their language accordingly.
