Abstract

The Composite tannery effluent contains adequate quantity of water soluble salts useful for plant growth. Present investigation reveals that 25 per cent tannery effluent promotes the vegetative and reproductive growth and yield of L. culinaris Medic. However, the higher concentrations of the effluent retarted the plant growth and productivity with the reduction in the life span.
