Abstract

Surge irrigation was compared with continuous flow metacin to fi cponse, irrigation water requirement and water saving in sun. Sunflower d MSell & was grown in double row spacing of 120/2x30 cm (60 x 3 end. The was no atgim ditierence in yield between surge and continuous flow. However, there w 19.6 and 54.5. * of water in surge irrigation as compared to continuous flow and cantional farmers the respectively. It is due to the reduction in water front advance time in une chod particulars shupona the initial irrigation.
